What an event! We had an absolute blast this Saturday at Snallygaster 2024, and hope you did too. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for not only making our twelfth monster year so special, but also for helping us raise money to help fight food insecurity in Washington DC through Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture.
There are too many people who helped make this beast a reality to name, but we want to shout out our incredible sponsors, the countless brewers who came out to celebrate with us, the food vendors who kept us full, the musical acts that kept us rockin, the dozens of volunteers who kept us all on track, and of course the city of Washington DC for allowing us to hold this incredible event every year.

WHAT’S SNALLY?
Snallygaster is Washington DC's beastliest beer festival – a rollicking salute to the planet's finest craft beer. For one day and one day only, we’ll unleash no fewer than 450 of the most sought-after, small batch and rare craft beers & ciders from 175 producers against a backdrop of the best of the best in food trucks, live music, fun and games. Far and away the biggest event of the year for beer geeks of every stripe. And yes, this is absolutely a family-friendly affair, so grab the kids and come out for a day full of fun in downtown DC.
WHERE’S SNALLY?
With the Capitol building as our backdrop, Snallygaster
lives smack dab in the heart and hubbub of DC on Pennsylvania Ave NW between 3rd & 7th – a location that provides a huge footprint to allow for fewer, quicker lines along with plentiful seating, shaded areas, restroom access and room to roam. As always, we strongly discourage driving to the event – for many reasons, not the least of which is that there truly is no parking to be had. Instead, take the metro, grab a cab or use a ride share. You’ll be glad you did.

Snallygaster serves as the largest annual fundraiser for Arcadiafood.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in our region. By attending , you are supporting the demonstration farm in Alexandria (where they grow food using sustainable practices and host thousands of school kids to teach them about farming & healthy foods), two mobile farmer’s markets dedicated to under-served & low-income neighborhoods, a veteran's program and so much more. Haven't heard of them? You should, they're doing some very cool things right here in our own backyard.
It takes a lot of humans to make this beast breathe. If you think you've got what it takes to pitch in, join the brew crew and lend a hand for the day, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for people pleasing volunteers to help out with check-in, pouring beer, and all sorts of other things required to make this day the greatest. You'll be rewarded with a commemorative tee, backstage access to the brews, total bragging rights and our undying gratitude.
